-sigh-
What a year.
I'm writing this post so you know i must mean it.
(unlike my spring posts about putting the boat in about every weekend, taking the boats out post only happen once because they're so sad :[[[[ )
Tabasco is probably coming out of the water soon. Though the lake is good for probably another 3 months of sailing if it doesn't get to the point where it stays above freezing during the day, we've had enough issues to want to take the boat out. In case you didn't know, her rudder snapped in half on saturday. it was in the middle of the lake and, trust me, i'm glad none of you we're there. it was not a good experience. With the rudder needing to be put back together, Hal was planning on working in the shop this week. But alas, he has overtime so he will not have the rudder fixed by this weekend. Though it's possible for the rudder to be fixed soon enough to keep sailing, there's another problem.
Tabasco sank. Wow. That sounded dramatic. It's not that bad. She was sitting on her lift over the weekend, exactly how we left her. But yesterday (Tuesday) Hal got a call while he was at work from his friend Bob Ashbaw(i think that's spelled right). When he drove his boat by Hal's dock, he saw that the left pontoon of the lift had sunk. The right cradle was still holding Tabasco but the boat was leaning really far over. It was leaning on the roof of the dock next to Banana Republics dock (I'm glad we took her out). When Hal got on board to look around, she was full of water. The bilge and most of the cabin had filled from the rain and the lake and now the inside is soaked and the bilge is still full. thusly, the probably removal of the boat.
What a year.

My Monthly Post. . .I Guess.
I haven't posted in a month or so. . .I think. I dunno. I can't remember.
Oh well.
Hey, guess what. I can cook stuff. Actual stuff, that involves spices and crap.
I picked piano back up. It um. . .great?
Dalton = Dalto, which = Balto, the wolf. Remember that movie? I loved that movie. Especially Uncle Boris, the old goose. HAAAA
I have a new friend! His name is Taylor. Anna knows him, they're in the same grade! And I think we both agreed that he has awesome hair. So yeah, I'm no longer "that girl that walks Taylor to his bus once or twice a week". But I don't think he even remembers my name, but hey, I asked him if it was okay to be his friend and he said sure, SO FEED THAT TO YOUR PET GIRAFFE.
I might be tutoring a middle school kid. MIGHT. But you know what was ironic? Taylor told me he got his cellphone taken away because he's not doing too well in one of his classes. Sooo, imagine my surprise when Mr. Smith said that the kid who needed help was Taylor. HA, you should've seen the look on my face.
DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE CONCERT 10/11! I'll be in Champaign-Urbana for that weekend. Staying with Jenna at college!
Is that it?
Oh yeah. Amie and I play chess. My score is six wins and one stalemate, and her score is three wins and zero stalemates. Wooty.
Don't I usually put a picture in here somewhere?
Abby says I have ADHD.
Um. . .
I think I'm done. If I remember something, I'll edit it in.
HASTA LA VISTA, BABEH
P.S. I typed in Mr. Smith in photobucket, and this is what popped up.
Does that make sense to you?
