i'm happy to be back(ish)!!!
I have internet again, but i'm still in florida. but i will be home monday, probably. in the meantime, i'll be stuck with only a beach.
the cruise was okay. it was a lot better than other cruiselines. NCL boasts 'freestyle cruising.' They basically, unlike other lines, let you do what you want, when you want. no set dining times and resturants, no certain times to get on and off the ship, even the shore excursions arent run by the ship. that was pretty cool. but there were lots of things that weren't so great. they didn't have very many resturants, they ran out of bananas, they planned stuff they didn't have time to do, ecetera. there's lots of stories to tell, some cool video, and even some fish footage. so i'll talk to y'all soon :]]]]]

Wow. That's what i said in a (longly) former post. And now, yesterday, i got to say it again. I'd also have to say it again, again, because we're expected to get lots of dangerous ice. but anyway, i said it again agreeing with Abby because there will be serious problems if school gets canceled. They'd have to mess with finals and they're already stressful enough. it be worse to have them all at once. but luckily, at least as I've heard, the ice will all melt away friday and my several-thousand-dollar-trip won't be cancled. hope that didn't curse anything.

I smell a scam! He got fired, then wrote 5 books on how we can save money traveling!? They tried to take legal action and couldn't!? He's gonna give you these 5 books for the wonderful price of $25.99!? No. You know what this guy reminds me of? Billy Mays. This is what would happen if we gave him 15 minute for commercials. he'd keeps trying to sell you the air you breathe for $49.99 ($8.99 shipping and handleing) ughhh

we need 10 more after this. only ten. and with finals here, you have a bunch to talk about. we'll also get more people to write on the blog this summer; there's many more people that are going to come sailing.

Life in a small town. Pretty cool. Sometimes. Now when you walk half a mile to your house. Especially not when it's raining. But thanks to another small town thing, everyone knows everyone and i got a ride home with Quinton.

I'm caught about in the middle of anxiety, boredom, and excitement. ...what? fine, I'll explain. i'm anxious because finals are coming up. Finals are evil. They're when you have to look at all your tests for the whole year, write down everything on them, study it for hours, then do one big test that has all the information on it. to make it worse, it's 20% of our grades. eek. The boredom comes with sitting inside, in my room, with about nothing to do but homework and cleaning. So here i sit, tip-taping away at my trusty (but not trusted) laptop.

yeah. it froze. again.

and the excitement? well you'd be excited to if you we're going on a Caribbean cruise in less than 2 weeks. but apparently, i deserve a kick in the shins for each mention of that so I'll shut up now.

Pep Band! Again!

But this one ain't your middle school gig. no. we're playing on the loft tonight. we're 14 feet above the gym, best seats in the house. We also play some good music. Tonight's an A band night which means me, Kitt, and Amy are going out of my friends. the rest can go too but apparently, the don't want to. -rolls eyes-
I'm prolly going to them all. but i guess that's just a little post to keep things in motion. or maybe, my subconscious mind is telling me i'm not getting enough attention and i desperately want you to comment on one of my posts. or email me. or, and this may sound strange, talk to me. like, in person. i know. weirdest thing ever right?

Snow! and Ice!

Life is good. It snowed. not much but it was snow. and, according ot an old wives tale, because it snowed on the 30th of November, we'll have 30 good snowfalls this winter. I like the sound of that! Also, it was about 32 degrees until this afternoon so the snow melted and refroze making all the smooth surfaces icy. I literally slid out of school today, flailing down the sidewalk on the west lawn. People also tried to start a snowball fight but the snow's no good for packing.
Either way, lovely. And now, for the Christmas music. By the looks of it, ya'll are gonna have snow for Christmas. No white Christmas for me. Unless you count the white sand beaches or gleaming white hull of my cruise ship, the Norwegian Dawn.
But if anyone wants to get me a present and give it to me early, i would really, really like an iHome that can charge my iPod and run on 120 volts. If i don't get that, i might have as few as 2 days for my iPod to live on the ship.
And also, email me over break. I know the ship has internet so i'll see if i can find a way to get back. I'm gonna take tons of pics and show you all of them when i can.
But what am i ranting about my Christmas Vacation for? All i really wanted to say was happy December! and a snowy one too!
