Scrubbing and scrubbing....

And more Scrubbing! But some of the boat is clean. So that's good. The inside still needs a lot of work. But progress is progress and congress is not. Also, next weekend is the fourth, so we have to get as much clean for that as possible. Which can be done because (shh- it's a secret!) I'm coming out to clean more on Tuesday after i clean some at my grandparents. Maybe someone can be dragged along, maybe not, but we'll figure that out in the future. Also, i'd commit to a daily post because there's finally a little to post about, but my (neighbor's) wi-fi hasn't been coming in hardly at all. Eventually, though, i'll post regularly. Anyway, you can keep up to things later. Maybe even on Facebook soon?

SAILING WEATHER IS HERE!!!!

So we actually got Tabasco cleaned and ready to sail today. We took her out for a couple hours and it was awesome! We got some pretty good wind too. It was just David, my friend Rachel, my dad, Kevin, Olivia, and me on the boat. We had so much fun. :)

PeAcE! ^_^

Finally!

So, today, for the first time in over 6 months, we sailed. It was on Tabasco, we used the (badly cut) 140, and we topped at 3 knots, but we sailed. It was glorious. Actually, it was just Katie, Rachel (her friend), and I, plus Hal, Olivia and my father. Amy was going to go too, but a trip to Peoria canceled that. Anyway, it wasn't the best excursion ever, but we spent some time on the water, which was good.

In other news, Banana Republics is still mast down, but in the dock. We cleaned today. Some of the stuff on the bottom got scraped off and about half of the top is nicely cleaned and sparkly white. But we're still having trouble finding someone who can swage the port shrouds. We have the shrouds themselves, just no way to attach them to the boat. I took pictures, but I'll have to put them up later. Anyway, i have other business to attend to, and i guess i'll write more tomorrow, since we'll hopefully be out again. Sooooo...Bye!
