ANOTHER trip!?!

Guess what I'm doing AGAIN! i'm traveling. tonight I'm at Dalton's house and tomorrow night i'll be in Washington by Peoria. we're also going to the farm tomorrow which'll hopefully be tons of fun. Probably pretty muddy. i'm being kicked off though so i'll see y'all later. moi out!

May 26, 2008

go summer! and i cant wait to go sailing! can i be captain or cocaptain of something?

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

I hope you're all having a great Memorial day. If you see a bunch of matching flags on matching poles that suddenly sprouted up through out your neighborhood, that would be us. I got up at 6 and voluntarily did that work so we could all have a patriotic Memorial Day. I'm also doing a ceremony of some sort at 11. i'll tell you about it once i figure out what it is. but until then, see y'all!

school....is out!!!!!!

well it's finally here. the day that always takes the longest to get here. the last day of school. a half day on tuesday and Leanne, Ally, and I are done with the middle school building. and Anna gets a whole new set of teachers (including Mr. Barrett (lucky Anna)). 8th grade promotion was friday so now Ally, Leanne and I are OFFICIALLY high-schoolers. GO FRESHMEAT! i'll be able to walk to school next year. so while you guys' bus routes stay the same, and you get home at the same time, i don't have to ride a bus, and i get home right after school gets out. so i won't be the last one on AIM anymore. but it's soon to be dinnertime y'all so i'll talk atcha later! toodles!

sailing

Allrighty then. Dalton shall be co-captain. This should be loads of fun. AND Hey, I was allowed to go, I just didn't want to for the last time! I have my reasons, I'm just not going to tell.

Six Flags (over mid-america)

wellllll... i wonder where we went today. some of us anyway. poor Ally didn't get to go and Anna probably won't get to go next year. but hey! what else are road trips for? on a brighter note, we (Dalton, Nolan, Mitchell, Cole, and I) had a great time and didn't fight (too much). on a weirder note, we saw Dakota Sims (almost a past girlfriend but she moved). and we only saw like 2 other people from our school the whole day. but Mr. Mohawk was following us around (creepy). but iz finally food time so I'll add some fun stuff later. taa y'all.

weaponry

Dalton here: ally, as co-captain of weaponry, i suggest we hit Nolan with lots of things. this is gonna be a fun summer....and D, bring lots of soda. D here again: ya see? he put himself as co-captain of weaponry. but you'll enjoy the help. and yes. hit nolan. fun to come, lots of soda, sounds like a great summer to me! :] see y'all

Midnight ramblings...

happy Wednesday to y'all! it be Wednesday now. but only barely. So yeah, Dalton is staying over. we've mostly just been playing video games. I'm amazed my mom hasn't yelled at us to get our butts into the basement and stop making so much noise. but we're concluding our night now. and on a different subject, WOOT! IT'S FINALLY TIME FOR THE 8TH GRADE TRIP TO SIX FLAGS!!!!! it seems my whole middle school career was leading up to this point. but now it's finally here. the two worst things though, are that Nolan's going and Anna isn't. but other than that, it's bound to be fun. soooo... I'll talk to you later. see y'all.

May 6, 2008

yeahhhh...

Collection of funny moments in sailing. All filmed in last few years at practice and international regattas. Snow was in Athens, February 2004, with -18 degrees temperature. Celebration is filmed after winning 420 Europeans by Croatian team I was coaching, Matija Longin and Pavle Kostov.

wouldn't that be fun. not quite what goes on at the lake. -18! not quite.

I hate...weather

D here. continuing L's list for my self.
  1. when you plan to do something and the weather changes your plans
  2. when that happens but it turns out you could've gone out with your plans
  3. when those both happen then the weather changes any your plans get aborted in the middle
  4. when you can't make plans because it's to cold to do anything
  5. when you can makes plans then it gets cold
in case you didn't get the hint, sailing might have to be postponed for a later date. AND before you complain:
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 66.
Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67.
so don't shake your fists (or peanut butter) at me, just at the weather. and more info to come...

sunday

I'm up for sailing sunday if I remember to ask my parents. I'm pretty sure they'll let me go. .. ya never know. Say hi to daniel for me.

Randomossity

Anna was here. Anna was here for no particular reason at all other than to wright anna was here. So, Anna was here.

More of the ranting you know you love <3

So, I was listening to the rapid chords from the song F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. by The Fall of Troy, and then all of the sudden, I felt like ranting. I suppose the random beat set my mood, that or these cookies I have sitting beside me.
And if it IS the cookies, well I suppose I've created something ingenious, and completely useless, too.

Do you know how many types of Google search engines there are? Well, there are a lot.

The basic search engine, probably the most used, too. Google has everything you could possibly want in a search engine. An image search, and even a button that says, "I'm Feeling Lucky"- which I have never used, and do not intend to. They have maps, for all the times you feel you need to be reassured that your town is not the last on the face of this crumbling planet. The news is something to keep up with, and, of course, they have that, too. What does Google NOT have, really? They have shopping, and mail, and heck, they're the reason Blogspot is even around! But my favorite part about Google, is that on special days, they change their font on the "Google" title. That, is by far, what makes it.

I have now changed the song to Don't Hold Back by The Sleeping. Let's see where it takes us.

2. Blackle.com

One of my other favorites, and not because it's in black. Blackle saves energy, and that, definitely earns it some brownie points. Although Blackle doesn't have all of Google's outgoing features, Blackle is helping to saving our planet. And that, my friend, is EXTREMELY important.

Now, the song is Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson. And yes, it IS in GHIII version, because a) GHIII is AMAZING, b) this guy didn't miss a single note, c) it had the best sound out of all the others.

3. PinkGoogle.com

All the fun of Google, but with a pink background! The girls have really outdone themselves on this one ;]. It may not have all of the features, but hey! The fun color makes up for it.

The song now? Well, now it be The Devil Went Down to Georgia by The Charlie Daniels Band. It's the new version, aka the version from GHIII. The original version is a country song. So I'll give you two choices: COUNTRY or ROCK. But I must say, the guitar in the rock version is. . .just WOW. As in, I didn't know it was possible to play that fast, WOW. But I have both versions.

OH BUGGER.

My computer is making funny noises, so I'll have to finish this in Part 2, mmk?

XOXOXOXO

Cubs and Cards...

For myself: GO CUBS!!!
For Ally: GO CARDS!!!
I guess we'll just have to listen to that later won't we....
be sure to tune in and listen to the series closer today.

catching up and running away.

mmmk. where to start. okay.
  1. no i don't have shun taped to my hat.
  2. the dance was tons of fun. (and I'm not trying to make you jealous for not going.) i danced with Anna like 7 times and that's just the slow dances. we also bothered mr smith by dancing right in front of him. he wouldn't look at us.
  3. and finally, GO CUBBIES!!! they're bringin' it back. one more game in the series and now it's tied. though the cubs have done better scoring a total of 12 runs in both games while the cards only scored 8 total. but i guess we'll see who's better tomorrow Allyson.
and now that I've caught up, i mean to tell you that yet again i'm in a hotel room over an hour away from ya'll. this one's a stony creek inn. particularly nice. so if you're ever in east Peoria and ya need a place to stay, dig up your trusty phonebook and give this place a call. the softest bedsheets EVER!
D Out!

P.S. guess what!!! the boat might go in next weekend! and i'll need a trusty crew....whose game???

Cubs vs. Cards

Oh well the cards lost :( but hey, cub fans *cough cough* at least we've won some world series in the past hundred years!

So How Was the Dance?

I'm curious to know, since I wasn't there! But my night was kick butt, none the less. Juicy details later, I'm leaving again in an hour and a half!

stupid.

STUPID PARENTS' Birthday part made me not go to the last dance of the year :( I was sad. I tried getting on AIM but that obivously did NOT work. Fine, I'll have it your peoples way and get a good shade of red! By the way D, you still have the shun taped on your hat?

May 2, 2008

borred

borred.

it's a good thing i have the friends i do.
if not, this blog would never get any exitementxD

In other news, there's a dance tonight. but of my authors, only Anna is going. the other two are deserters! lucky for them, i suck at holding grudges. and besides, they're like my best friends.
so what are ya gonna do?

D out ya'll

I Hate ... Being Sick

Yes, I was slightly sick today. I went home 30 minutes early and made cookies. They are DELICIOUS, and I'm bringing them to school tomorrow to share with my friends because I love them and I'm nice. SO TAKE THAT GERMS! AHA! AHAHA!

  1. You feel like you must kill yourself to make the pain go away
  2. You find yourself lying on the bathroom floor to try and make your temperature go down, because for some reason that's just the coldest place in the house.
  3. You look like you just got run over by ther Ugly Train
  4. You have to ask the teacher to go to the nurse, and any association with teachers is awkward [I had to ask Mr. Smith -shudder-]
  5. You feel like you life is "spiraling downwards" [lookup the Emo Song by Adam and Andrew. No, that is not where I got the names for my imaginary friends.]
  6. If you throw up, you smell like chunks of rotten potatoes for the rest of the day
  7. You have to wear a sign that says, "I'm sick, stay away or you might catch my cold! BLEHHCHOO!"
  8. You feel the need to have a 5 by 4 bubble around you at all times so you can breathe
  9. You don't want to face the disappointment of not having the right pills to take to make the achey business in your head go away
  10. Your crappy moods spreads to other people, and pretty soon you have a cult of cranky teenagers who feel like life is pointless and they all want to go to Stuper WalMart, because that appears to be the only way to cure their "emoness"

Did I feel like this today? Somewhat, yes. Stuper WalMart craving? Ermm, no.

EZSQUEEZE ME?

I am NOT negative! I am opinionated. There's a difference. And yes, free time in band is excellent and trophy-worthy. Especially when we found Poochy! I still have him. He just sits in my locker and does nothing. ANYWAY, GO GET A NEW SHADE OF RED, BECAUSE HAVING TWO SHADES IS NOT ENOUGH!

wow. . .

Nice list mister negative, and mister jacket stealer. IT'S NOT MY FAULT I HAVE THE WRONG SHADE OF RED!!!! If you think of the bright sides:

1. being able to see your friends every day
2. band, the times we get to do nothing
3. recess (koosh ball)
4. having days you don't have homework (very rare but still)
5. Jazz band solos
6. Jazz band (other one)
7. hmmmmm i'll type more later
