Just One.

Got any New Year's Resolutions? I have just one. I think I'm going to try to have at least one post a day. Maybe, we'll get a little more traffic, maybe the traffic that we used to have will stumble over this again and read, and hopefully, we'll have a lot more pictures, videos and stories. I know how annoying it is to go back to something everyday and watching as they fail to update, so i wanna give everyone as much content as possible. I'll see what i can do, since i'm sure we'll be tackling a lot of projects and enjoying many hours of sailing this summer.

Happy Holidays!

It's finally break! We've all been waiting for this since school began. Hopefully, i will get a couple of new games for Christmas, some money for that and my B-day, a cell for just my B-day, and my drivers license soon after. If all goes well, I'll be texting and driving (NOT AT THE SAME TIME!) in no time at all! And after that happens, it'll only be a matter of time until pictures and videos of boat repairs begin popping up all the time. And by spring, BR will look like the poster boat of daysailing/weekending. And I'll even get the trailer fixed up and take her places. All in all, by the end of summer, that boat might have some serious miles under her keel, on land and water. More news as at happens, but that shouldn't be much for a couple of months, especially if we get some snow. Which is what we all hope for until it happens. Peace!

Christmas concerts anyone? :]

Long time, no post. Been busier than ever, because on top of normal school work (and a bit more), I've been playing in the pit for our musical (Disco Inferno), and i did a bunch of work backstage too. So basically, I've been on the computer for a grand total of half an hour in the last 2 weeks. But I promise I'll be here a lot next week. Including a possible debut on FictionPress? We'll see next week.

Not Halloween.

Did everyone have a great Halloween? Mine was pretty good; just a little light on the candy. As you might know, i was a part of a (pretty epic) haunted house. I was a shadow, though i was mistaken for death a number of times. I even argued with a person going through about that. It was hilarious. Anyway, just wanted type a little. Peace out.

Again, Rockin' the Blogging Class

A1 english is one of my favorite classes. I'm really far ahead of my class on my project, so i figure i can afford a little time to the blog. though i am in the habit of typing in a different window so no one sees what i'm doing.

So far, Zach and i have nearly finished our power point and both our papers. I guess a little animation in the powerpoint wouldn't hurt, but we'll save that for a day he's here.

So far, my paper is on the third page. I don't know how long it's supposed to be over all, but i'll probably keep mine around 4 pages with the bibliography. I'm kinda of impressed with myself that i'm so close to done, so far ahead of schedual. My only dislike at the prestent time this stupid keyboard. It's way to small for my gigundo fingeres.

I guess i'll go now. I don't really have much to talk about, or at least not on the school's computers. Peace and goodwill!

H E double hockey sticks

This day well, afternoon sucked. I went to the doctor's office and I have to get this medication you see, and they had to take blood, which hey, was no big deal for me. The BIG DEAL was that after that we had to go to the hospital and I had to take an EKG, don't ask me what it stands for, but they had to take it so they could give me the medicine. It was he double hockey sticks sitting there waiting for an hour and a half because horrid childhood memories flooded back, ESPECIALLY since we got kinda lost and went by the x-ray part of the hospital, we were in the right direction, but in the part of the building where I had to go a lot for asthma and such. (I went to the hospital a lot when I was little cuz I would have tons of asthma attacks and some were severe. Doctor's weren't sure I was gonna make it through kindergarten, but look at me now!) That was my he double hockey sticks day. Now I am going to try and get rid of the hospital smell in my nose and attempt to go to bed.

Piano

Well, I don't think I've posted this yet, but in seven weeks I get to play on a grand piano in front of god knows how many people. Last year they said over 200 people attended the recital, and they were expecting more people this year. They rent a GRAND piano and it's at my church. If any of you people could come I would really, really, really, really, really appreciate your support. I mean, playing in front of 200+ people and I have to memorize my music. PRESURE. It's the sunday November 29th. My church is First United Methodist Church and it's the big one kinda behind lowes. Corner of Wabash and Koke Mill. It's at 2:00pm and if I'm telling you all the details it's cuz I would really really really really like some of you there. Really. LOL. Please come and support Ally!!!

RACHEL!

You guys! My friend Rachel is going to hopefully join the blog! She went sailing with david and i last weekend and we had a BLAST!! It was her first time being on a "real live boat!" and she wants to come again sometime. My other friend, who's name is also Rachel, wants to come too. AND so does Ashley.

These three are a LOT more lively and open to meeting people than my other friends who came out for my party..i PROMISE that.

I'm hoping to get one more weekend of sailing in this year to at least bring the Rachels and introduce them to some of you guys! I know you'll all love Rachel Stivers. (She's the one I've already taken sailing.) Rachel Woodcock and Ashley are spontaneous too, but not as much as Rachel Stivers.

Anywayz, I CAN'T WAIT for you all to meet them! :)

Stranded

All right guys. I need a vote. I'm debating on whether or not to post "Stranded" (The story I've been writing for some time now) onto FictionPress or whatever site that was Kitt told me. I'm thinking it would be good to get outside opinions. What do you think?????? Oh, I'm also gonna try typing it all out tonight and emailing to ya'll. (And yes, I did say ya'll.)

First Hour: Blogging!

Now, I am posting from school. In this case, first hour english. We're working on projects about different Nazi stuff because we're going to read a memoir about this time. I must say, this stuff is pretty terrible. I’ll post my paper up here when I’m done, so you can read all the terrible stuff they did. Just be sure to cite me if you want to use it for a paper of yours. And don’t plagiarize! Almost all information belongs to someone and the paper I’ll post later belongs to me.

Oop, just got the twenty minutes left warning. I have a little paper to finish, and, though this is easy (remember, I love writing if I have something to write about, even if that something is Nazis), I wanna get as much done now as I can. I guess you’ll hear more from me later. I kinda just wanted to post in class. Like Fang. Oops. I you imagined that.

Today's Post Number 2!

David here, blogging directly from Chemistry! Well, not really. I'm writing this in chemistry (last hour, A-day), though i'm typing it closer to the time at the bottom.

I really do like writing, especially displaying my personality. As soon as i get the chance, i will write and publish on Fictionpress. The problem is, as has been for a really really long time, my room is a horrid mess. Techically, i can't use the computer until it's all clean. I've been navigating a sea of loopholes and have been doing a pile of homework in Word, PowerPoint, and in my Engineering Notebook. With those piles of homework, i've managed a little time for "me things." In this case, that means facebook, email, and my ever loved blog. Managing 3 posts in 2 days is no easy feat for someone who can't use the computer. But i'll try to get that clean and get a steady stream of stuff going on here.

Maybe even letting you see the epic changes to BR? actually, a little inspecting led me to the conclusion (okay, i jumped here, but i'll take measurements soon) that we will probably not be able to put a table and seatee in there. The celing is probably way to low. but a few bulkheads wouldn't hurt.

Anyway, the mythbusters blew up 500 pounds of anthrax, so i'm gonna go before my ADHD makes me type something stupid while i'm not paying attention. Peace out!

Today's Post Number 1!

Okay, i have another post i'll put up later, but for now, i'd like to point out my agreement with Mitch. I, also, and i'm sure most of the rest of you, love October. Just cooling off as fall takes full force, sometimes spooky weather and the awesomeness of hot chocolate where it's cool enough to enjoy it, but not to cold to need it.

But my point was, i love October. Now, i have a little homework to work on (at home, believe it or not), but i'll post number 2 later tonight. Peace!

The Top Ten Reasons to Read a Blog

Been a while, huh, guys? A lot happens in a short time here in the corn-melon belt and it's really hard to keep up. I'm sure if you're my friend on facebook (or anything really) I've been kinda nonexistent for a while.

First Item, Haunted House. Not only do i have plans to go to a couple (well, one haunted house and one haunted hayride), I'm actually participating in one. And even better than jumping out and risk getting hit, I get to control a whole array of lights, indoor and outdoor. No danger of getting hit, lots of hilarity. Maybe some video, if i get my friends to go through.

Next up, Sailing. That is what this blog is kinda about right? We won't be this weekend, primarily because we're traveling. Contrary to original plans, we won't be going to the Dells, but we might be looking at Chicago now. Not to bad. But that limits sailing this weekend, so no pics or vids. Next weekend though, seeing as it is the last weekend for Tabasco (due to cold), and thus the easiest to take pictures instead of splashing water and "having fun," I'll try to get a bunch.

Thirdly, Travel. Yeah, it was in number two, but i thought you could know. No Dells; Maybe Chicago. Mostly just for Shedd, Navy Pier, the works, but i do like Chicago. Especially when it's cold and everyone's bundled up. Nothing beats a noisy deep dish pizza place on a cold, snowy night in Chicago. Though I'd bet against snow, for now.

Uhhh, Homework. I guess. yeah, you know i have a ton of it. Stressing me out. Which leads to...

Five, Stress. Overworked and underpaid. That's me. Well, maybe not so much underpaid, but definantly under...loved?...appreciated?...water?...

That last one was a joke. Ha. Ha, ha-ha, ha-ha.

Six, That Commercial. Has anyone seen it? The kinda funny one, with: More Meat, More Cheese, Less Money. La. La la. La la. Yeah. That's what that LOLing was about. Or at least the cause for more, more recent LOLing.

Seven, FIVE REVISIT. Actually, i am a bit underpaid. I do a lot for everyone, but i don't really get anything from anyone.We'll talk about this more later.

The Number After Seven, Ten. No, the number after seven isn't ten, and i know that. But, i decided since i was already on seven, i would just do ten. Then i could call it "The Ten Things That You Probably Already Know" or something along that line, that won't get any hits. I'll think of something after my conclusion, right after body paragraph ten.

Nine, English. See? I learn plenty of stuff. Like that you need, in this order, a: topic (hook)and thesis as your first paragraph. A: topic, detail, (repeat), as body paragraphs, and a: restatement of the thesis and closing at the end.

Ten, Did I Miss Something? You did get the shampoo joke right? "Topic, Detail, Repeat?*" Like, "Wash, rinse, repeat**" If you don't get it now, i don't blame you really. Unless you're one of my close friends, who i force to get this kinda stuff, whether they like it or not.

Closing Paragraph: No! You shouldn't label you're closing paragraph "Closing Paragraph." You know how tacky that looks? And i can't restate my thesis because i don't have one. So i guess all that's left is saying goodbye in my usual way, and doing the little footnote things with the funneh asterisks. Toodles!

But the point is, here i go, reading Maximum Ride again, if only so Amy'll let me borrow the graphic novel. I guess i could always just go buy it...but whatever.

Wait, What?

Did you know this is our three hundred fourth post!? I didn't realized we passed a hundred! Anyway, kinda been off duty for a while, with the whole blog managing thing. Though, as usual, i picked about the worst time to blog. My dad is expecting the computer in a few mintes, so i'll be fast.
Point number one: Boat work. Since this blog is about us having a boat and sailing it, I'll point out that, yes, we will be doing some boat work this winter. This will include a hull job on Banana Republics, meaning possible repainting, definite removal of stickers, polishing hull, new stickers and state ID, plus her new lake stickers. We'll also do more inside work, including, but not limited to (I think that was honestly the first time i posted that phrase): adding compartments between areas (definite locker, instead of a door leading to just the whole hollow shell of the boat), removing the silly storage lockers on the starboard side and replacing them with a much more fasionable and useful dinette, and finishing cleaning the deck and cabin.("When did you start?" you may ask in your mocking voices, but thanks to a few special people, the boat is looking very clean, inside and out lately). Don't worry, expant audiances, i'll be sure to take plenty of pictures of the renovation with my beloved camera. ;]
Point Number two: School. It's been happing for us, and i'm sure you have had some issues with it, depending on your age. Maybe you're our age and just went back to school; maybe you're my parents age, and your children just went back to school; maybe you're sailing the world and you barely know what month it is, but the point is, an important reason none of us are posting is the fact we all have hours of school work piled on us.
Point Number Three: getting yelled at. More point to follow. I know i had some good ones, i just forgot.

Amanda Eats Dirt. HA!

I figured I'd tell u guys about last Friday night (our first home game). We (the band) had just finished playing IL loyalty when Amanda Chidster was dropped by the other cheerleaders, who absolutely hate her guts. I hate her too, so i laughed at her. The band marched off the field quietly and quickly while the Gator came down to take her up to the ambulance. She went to the hospital and was x-rayed. Now, I felt really bad cuz I laughed, so I went home after the game and cried myself to sleep.

Now, here's what REALLY happened...

She didn't get dropped, she MADE herself fall! Bailey and Missy (my friends, who happened to be holding her up) said she was perfectly stable, and knows how to stable herself in case they can't. Bailey felt her foot move and strengthened her grip so amanda can do her final pose. But Amanda still fell. The EMTs came down and told her she was fine and should be able to get back up and cheer again. Amanda insisted otherwise. So they took her to the hospital. The people there told her she was fine. So what does she do? Spends the night at her best friends house!!! RIGHT AFTER SHE JUST GOT OUT!!!!! She and her friend went on a walk and got picked up by a guy they both knew. He's not a very good driver, so they wound up in a ditch. Neither of their parents know this!!!!!

The sad thing is, the cheer coach made the other girls run for "dropping" her! AND she won't let Missy (captain) kick her off the squad, even though captains of ANY sport have that power. And YES cheerleading IS a sport...

So now the whole school knows she faked and I HOPE they drop her at the Homecoming game on purpose! I'm sick of her.

She's a slut AND a drama queen!

Okay, roll call! Who wants to sail this weekend? I'll probably need one pro to teach Andrew the ropes (pun intended) since i can almost always bring 2 friends. it makes for good crew, since i know we'll be on BR, the newly designated kids boat. Band Camp

Okay, apparently on the school website at the bottom says band camp is gonna be August 10th and 11th, 8am-3pm. so bring your lunches and water bottles! And in david's case his video camera. . . .

IT would seem that i've forgotten to post in a while. I even missed introducing our newest pirate, Amy. She went sailing a few weeks ago and has now been officially inducted into our crew. In other news, school starts in less than a month, and band camp is next week. on the subject of band camp, get ready, because my camera is definantly gonna be a band camp so there will be crazy videos soon. Other than that, i don't have much more to say, which is unusual. So i guess i'll go now. Bye! ☮

What I've done this summer

I guess I've had a pretty sucessful summer. . .

1) Got a baby grand piano
2) Got Contacts
3) Got hair cut really short
4) Went to Utah without passing out
5) Got carpet in room cleaned
6) Managed a whole 2 weeks with my hyperactive cousins
7) Renewed my library card
8) Went Sailing (duh)
9) Became single . . .
10) Came to love the band Phantom Planet
11) Discovered the wonderful works of George Winston *Piano Songs*
12) Learned at least 5 new piano songs that were each over 8 pages long =D
13) Broke my record of 11000 texts sent since november last year, thanks to the help of David and a few others
14) Survived a trip to St. Louis with my cousins
15) Kept seeing the same person twice in two days

Weird

I keep seeing the same person over and over! Well it only happened twice, but it's still odd. I kept seeing you, Mitch, at Chili Parlor downtown and then at the Japanese restraunt Kiku. That place is awesome, Amy you should go there, or I'll just take you sometime for dinner.
I'm strung out on cold medicine so I'm kinda hyper but kinda outta it. But I gotta get better cuz I'm goin to see a Cardinal Game next monday!!!!!!!!! They're playing against the Dodgers so it should be really good. Plus I haven't seen the new stadium yet.

looks like no one's posted for a while so i guess i'll report on recent-ish events
1. i went sailing for the first time
2. ally and i both got haircuts this summer so we look slightly less alike. still scary though.
3. ally went to utah.
4. david went to michigan
5. i went to japan camp in minnesota

that's really all i can think of. sorry if i left anyone out- i can't keep track of all of you, and i would be kind of creepy if i could. btw- does anyone know anything specific about band camp this year? apparently mr. essex is leaving our school. (yay)

Michigan!

My turn to get in on the fun! Today (and the next 10 days of my life)
will be spent in Michigan. To tell you the truth, I love it here. My
only problem is that tonight, it's gonna be 43. Yuck.
Other than that, it's wonderful here! We're in Pentwater today and
tonight, which is nice because it's eight on Lake Michigan. They also
have their own little lake. Though, Lake Michigan is 2 feet high,
which makes the beach here slightly smaller than last time I was here.
But anyway, I'll keep you posted when possible. It's nearly 10, but
still a little light here. I'm goin' to bed so I can wake up good and
early and go swim in the frigid waters of the big blue lake. Ta!

UTAH!

Well tomorrow at 7am or so we're leavin for Utah! A very long and boring 20 hour car ride is ahead of us! At least it's just me my sister and my grandparents going ^^ no parents =D. If anyone wants to text me during this long boring ride please do!!!!! David you better get on aim. I promise I won't pass out in wendy's in Laramey, Wyoming -shivers-. Stupid High altitude. The only time I'm not home!!

The one time I'm not home, and then Kitt and Abby apparently walked to my house and left me a note on the front porch. LOL. And of course the one time I left my cell phone at home, (Shocking, I know) they called it! LOL. The only time soeone actually called me and didn't text it instead. Well, I guess there's a first time for everything. =D

1) The Trip to Honors Band.
David you were with us on that one. Fun night, except the horrible feeling after playing trumpet for 5 hours with 15 minute breaks for a what, 10 minute concert? LOL . Also Culvers was the best part ^^
2) B8 Literature.
Ah yes, me sitting in between David and Amy was NOT the best idea. We'd all steel each other's stuff, then eventually give it back at the end ^^
3) Comp.
HOW BORING WAS THAT?!?!?!
4) Band Camp.
Ha. Fun stuff there. Especially the hour break in the afternoon. Especially when Tucker and Seth came and spun the marry go round while kitt, me and a few others were still eating. I saw them in time to jump off, but Kitt slid all the way off. LOLZ. Then when we walked to the post office and then to Justin's house and then back to band camp.
5) Football Games.
How about them ducks??? BLAH. Couldn't they have picked a better mascot name?? I mean, Come ON.
6) Marching at Home PPHS Football games.
Only fun part was NOT marching. Just waiting around, walking around, talking/hanging out with friends. Eating skittles, being creeped out by the fog that was edging its way behind the field.
7) First Time when I went sailing.
I'm sure the first thing that comes to people's mind was when I started to step off onto the guest dock, then the wind shifted the boat farther over, and I stepped straight into the water. LOL. Now it wasn't funny at the time. lol.
8) Chicago Trip!
Nobody on the blog came on the Chicago trip!!!! I will fill you in. First, we had to wake up at like, 3:30am, or at least I had to since I don't live so close to the school. Then we watched Juno in the morning on the way to the Crackle Barrel where we stopped for breakfast. Then we stopped at the WaterTower Place which was a huge mall and we kept seeing homeless people which made us all feel sad =( then we took a trip in the glass elevator there. NEVER GO ON THAT GLASS ELEVATOR. On our way from there, we went to see CHICAGO! the musical. It was so boring it put us all to sleep. Then from there on we made our way to Drury Lane theatre. Joy made this wonderful quote: "OH LOOK GUYS MUSIC" Me- "Joy, it's a MUSICal" LOL. Miss Saigon was an amazing musical. At least the performance we saw was awesome. Helicopter scene was the best. Before all that, we sat in the dinner hall and had dinner (obviously). After the musical it was about 11pm or so. We didn't get back home until 3am or 4am. We still had school the next day, but it was SO worth it.

Oops.

Sorry if we all (except Mitchell) left you hanging. We do have some social life. I know we've all been really busy, though one thing we all do together is sailing. Speaking of which, we are this weekend, and i'll be sure to bring the computer so we can post as we do stuff. We'll be cleaning the boathouse, fixing the dock, and moving BR to the shop to fix her up later. So I imagine we'll have a busy day, even before we sail. Here's hoping the weather is good and windy!

well i made two friends in summerschool,one is named Ryan, he's a gamer like me. and the my secound friends named Sydny, she's a really great artist, she might be better than Nathan. they are both really nice, and fun to talk to. the only great part of summerschool is talking to them.

Summer Camp

...is where Dalton, Mitch and i will be this week. So, if you want to get a hold of us, too bad. i went to an aerosmith concert, but it started raining so we had to sit and wait for three hours before they went on, but they rocked. i packed up all my things today so on sunday ill be ready to move out of the house.

it's been what, a year?

Ive done so much since the last time i spoke to any of you. It seems like its been at least three years. perhaps a list is approprate to explain what ive done.

5.Am accepted by and have made close friends of many people in my grade
6.started straightening my hair daily
7.discovered makeup (shocking, i know)
8.fallen in love with the flaming sideburns ( don't ask), three days grace, and screemo.
9.became accustomed to caffine
10.got braces
11.am learning to play mean lead guitar
12.am in a rock band
13.live with little regrets and fewwer sorrows and stressful days
14.am moving out of my home in lake petersburg (we sold the house) and am building a house on country lake drive
15.got a puppy (did i ever mention scout before?)
16.learned to love the color black
17. found out converse is producing angus young high tops (they cost 80 dollars, but its worth it)
18.have found i am unable to get over a crush (it truly sucks)
19.joined track and stayed with it all year
20.learned my bone deformity could cause me to loose use of my hand, or worse, loose my hand if not corrected
21.stayed up longer than the moon (5:30 am)
22. learned to play the intro to thunderstruck by acdc without my right hand.

It's been a good year, has it not?

We got her about 10 minutes early this morning after a really bumpy flight. It's almost the exact same temperature and humidity here as in Illinois. The only difference is the Gulf. I've only taken a few pictures but I'll take a lot more as the week goes by. Talk to y'all later.

Shakey Shakedown

We took Tabasco out for the first time yesterday. Should've known that the outboards inability to start was a bad omen. The new rudder (that awesome one?) is causing me to eat my words. It's nice and high aspect ratio, and should work great. It doesn't. It takes forever to respond because it's a little too thin. It's also really heavy. Also, the running rigging is all tangled, and hal forgot to put the Windex on the masthead. So now we'll either be tying me to a chair and hosting me up, or dropping the whole 100 pound aluminium spar. Fun, fun, fun. All of this is currently scedualed for next week. Which of course is when i'm in florida. Great for having me climb the mast, me being a few thousand miles away. I do get to drive the escape to and from St. Louis and i remember the route being a relitively easy one ot drive so i should be good. I'll talk to you later. Maybe i'll post and take pictures while i'm in Florida. Have a good week.

What I'm (oh, so very, obviously) excited about is this: We are going sailing this weekend!!! Woot!

Not on Banana Republics yet (we still have that gnarly centerboard problem to fix), but on Tabasco, our flagship. What's cool is that we brought her to the shop last weekend (i took a funny pic of that; i'll show you later) and worked on her. She's about ready to go in this year after one very cool thing, the repainting of the name. As you might've seen from that slideshow-that-never-got-updated-like-it-should-have at the bottom, was that the name was fading and being scratched away into oblivion. But before that could happen, we went over it with more black, yellow and white paint. It looks really amazing! I'll take some sailing pics this weekend. I might even take some epic video if it's epic sailing and put it on youtube (I'll be sure to have it linked for those of you who follow the blog and not my youtube).

But yeah, just wanted to tell you that, though it's been a little quiet lately, it's sure to get more action-y soon!

Guess what! The rudder should be coming in tomorrow for Tabasco! A brand new, high density, lightweight plastic Catalina 25 custom rudder. Built special for Tabasco. And that means we'll be getting ready to (if not actually) sail this weekend. Everything's ready to go at the club and everything that needs work on Tabasco can be done in the water. So hopefully, you'll see pics from on the water soon! Until then, Peace!

Well, that wasn't really the most fun i've had. It was really cold and wet. Rather unpleasant being cold and wet for 48 hours. On the plus side, we pulled a snowboard (and nolan) out of the lake. That was funny. But i have a headache so i'm going to sleep or something. Bye.

Camping Trippppp

Yep. Another one. And, if you live in the USA, then you probably know that there's a lot of weird weather going on around here (if not, you might still know, but if you live on this side of the pond, you should know). This weekend, Illinois' weird weather just happens to be a snowstorm. That's right, we've been getting 60s and 70s, but the weekend we go camping, we get snow. I'll bet you'll know what's happening to us though, because i have a plan. I already know Dalton can take pictures on his phone, which probably means he can email them too. I also know he has text, so he can keep in touch with Ally. If anyone feels interested in letting everyone else know what's going on, a text to Ally and the blog will know. So you'll be the first people to know that one of our scouts is lost, sick, or deceased! Though i doubt any of that will happen, at least you'll know when we get buried beneath 6 inches of wet, goppy snow. So all y'all stay warm back home while we wild ones go out and freeze our butts off! And i'll try to put pics up too when we get back. Happy Friday!

Wow. . .

I apologize for my not being a very active administrator. A lot of things have been going on and I never really think about posting. For instince, last week I went to Destin, Florida as all of you pirates know. The first two days we were there it rained, but the rest of the week was wonderful. Then we come back home to more rain xD. I'm excited that mi estacion favorita la primavera is here! (In english: My favorite season, spring). That also means sailing weather is coming which means more pirating!!!

Ha! The unforseen is Good!

I promised more pictures today right? Well I took one, but that's not the good.
The good is that i found my moms old Vivitar XV-1 camera. This camera is very nice film camera that uses 35 mm film. I can't wait to go out and take awesome pics with it.

Well...

...it was too pretty outside. With the arival of the Illinois Spring, the first Spring showers made a cool background to the bits of Plains I was out and about in. I just thought I'd share the long-awaited Illinois Spring.

Who knows, we might even put in this weekend! If i could drive by myself, i'd put BR in tomorrow, but i can't. so we'll just have to see about this weekend.

Planning like never before.

Hey! Good news. We have an easier way to clean BR now! We're gonna take her over to Island Bay Yacht Club and use their boat crane so we can fix the centerboard and clean the bottom. Yay!

Woo! Who's up for sailing soon?! We went to the club today. Our dock was still frozen but the fuel dock and everything farther out is thawed. i bet we'll be good to put in 2 weeks from now.
