FINALLY!!!

All you pirates will be glad to know, the namesake of this blog, our pirate ship, the small yellow boat, is finally going in the water!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know when but it's finally ready to go in. we have the state license finally so the plan would be, find a windy day, set the boat in the water off the trailer, get the gear in the appropriate places, put on the rudder and trolling motor, motor the boat to hal's dock, maybe take the mast down and do an inspection it we're feeling we have time, take the gear out, clean the boat at least a little, get the gear back in, stow all the gear, get the sails out, make sure we have 4 good sails and everything's in it's spot, then hop on, head into the bay, hoist sail, and haul over to the bridge, where we'd get the lake license, head back to the club, and put a whole bunch of stickers on all or our boats. and all this COULD (i.e., probably won't but there's a super slight chance) happen tomorrow. so man your telephones and i'll call if i want help. cause i'll need it when we do put this in. so everybody, email with your family plans for fathers day and tell me if you can anytime soon! it's pirating time!
