Kampsville

Well, i got this at the regatta a few weekends ago (we ate at Louie's) and i meant to put it on the blog but i kept forgetting. but it's still a ways off so here you go...

That is everything on the flier (except a picture of a steamboat that i would rather not find and add) and it looks pretty interesting.
Something it didn't really clarify, it's not really a civil war re-enactment but it is demonstrations of civil war stuff. The cavalry does a few demonstrations and the artillery shoots over the river on and off all day. or at least that's what happened last year. It's tons of fun and lots of stuff for everyone to do.
It's about an hour drive to Kampsville but well worth it. Calhoun County is probably my favorite county in Illinois and i'm sure many would agree with me. There's plenty of stuff to do in that area and it's well worth it. And, if we work this out right, we might be able to 'shoot' at you as you cross on the ferry. that's what we did to my dad last year. it's really awesome and i think you should all come.
