What i'm omgomgomgom....
...Lets start over.
What I'm (oh, so very, obviously) excited about is this: We are going sailing this weekend!!! Woot!
Not on Banana Republics yet (we still have that gnarly centerboard problem to fix), but on Tabasco, our flagship. What's cool is that we brought her to the shop last weekend (i took a funny pic of that; i'll show you later) and worked on her. She's about ready to go in this year after one very cool thing, the repainting of the name. As you might've seen from that slideshow-that-never-got-updated-like-it-should-have at the bottom, was that the name was fading and being scratched away into oblivion. But before that could happen, we went over it with more black, yellow and white paint. It looks really amazing! I'll take some sailing pics this weekend. I might even take some epic video if it's epic sailing and put it on youtube (I'll be sure to have it linked for those of you who follow the blog and not my youtube).
But yeah, just wanted to tell you that, though it's been a little quiet lately, it's sure to get more action-y soon!

Tabasco: Obviously. If you couldn't read that, i doubt you're reading this.
Tabasco on Her Trailer: Such a sad sight.
The Keel: Makes you want to avoid getting keel-hauled huh? this is the bad side mind you.
The Speedometer: you know that needle in the back of the boat that we grin when it gets to 4? this is the magnet that causes all the joy
Balancing Boat: it amazes me that that stays ballenced so nicely. but then again, it has literally a ton of lead sitting underneath it.
Set to Roll: All ready to pull out in the creative [and dangerous (just ask)] shot.
The Irony is Killing Me: That's right, we were on top of Lindsay Bridge, the one we can't fit under. The picture has the lake and the bridge, and, in case you didn't notice, the mirror is put in there to show the boat on the bridge. a little creative camera work.
Something Following Us: It's making me very nervous...
The Firefly: The small ultralight (reduntant?) i've been talking about. only 7 grand!
The Firefly's Cockpit: a nice look into the world of '6 gauges you'd bet your life on.' what choice do you have though?
